Andrée-Anne Leclerc

MD, MSc, FRCSC

Laryngologist and ENT Surgeon

Laryngologist and ENT Surgeon (Otolaryngologist), Dr. Andrée-Anne Leclerc has unique expertise in the treatment of voice, swallowing, and breathing disorders.

After earning her medical degree from the Université de Montréal, Dr. Leclerc completed her residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the same institution. Concurrently, she pursued a Master’s in Biomedical Research to enhance her skills in medical research.

Once certified as an ENT surgeon by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Leclerc continued her academic training in the United States with a two-year fellowship in laryngology and professional voice care. During this fellowship, she trained under the guidance of internationally renowned laryngologist Dr. Clark A. Rosen, first at the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and then at the UCSF Voice and Swallowing Center (San Francisco, California). At the conclusion of her fellowship, Dr. Leclerc returned to Montreal, bringing with her new knowledge and advanced surgical techniques to Canada.

Thanks to her expertise, Dr. Leclerc has treated hundreds of patients in Canada and the United States with a variety of laryngeal disorders. She works closely with professional voice users, including singers and international artists, providing evaluation, treatment, and surgical care for their voice.

Passionate about her work, Dr. Leclerc has contributed throughout her academic and professional career to numerous scientific publications, books, expert panels, and conferences.

Committed to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, Dr. Leclerc frequently participates in workshops on vocal health and laryngeal disorders with patients, students, and singers. She is also a co-founder of laryngo.ca, a platform designed to make her expertise accessible to all.

Today, in addition to being a mother of two, Dr. Leclerc practices at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Montréal (CHUM), Clinique Médicale Angus, and Hôpital Santa Cabrini. She also engages in ongoing specialized training to stay at the forefront of best practices in her field and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Université de Montréal.
